i think for me the thought of not going and regretting it felt worse than me potentially being freaked out by it. and it was nice to have some quiet reflective time alone with the person

ultimately i found it a positive experience and i wouldn’t change it - but it was weird also. i don’t think people look quite the same so it’s worth being prepared for that. i think it affects people differently as i also know people who’ve regretted going, i know that’s not very helpful tho!

just think if you can afford a 2 million quid house you can prob make it work if my estate of ex council tenants can also manage double that somehow

where i live we are all charged £4.5k a year for communal heating with no price cap or obligation to meter our usage, so we can’t use less to pay less. funny seeing v rich ppl act like £2.5k is a life changing amount when i’m expected to produce £5k out of nowhere every year and no one cares lol
