TRANSLATION: Chancellor confirms she's 'very happy' to...
-Torpedo climate progress
-Keep us hooked on volatile, expensive fossil fuels (instead of cheap clean energy)
-Make us all poorer and less safe
-Dance to Reform Trump's climate denialist tune
Dangerous moral cowardice.

Unless Labour change their offer, people will continue to organise elsewhere.
And from Caerphilly to Gorton and Denton - we know we can win.
Hannah proves that when a candidate is clear about taxing wealth, public ownership, the UK’s role in genocide and welcoming migrants, people vote for them.
Labour, take note.
Thousands have seen in Hannah the possibility for change.
A compassionate, fairer kind of politics, which is laser-focused on improving people’s lives.
HOPE WINS @greenpartyhan.bsky.social
People-power has sailed the Greens to victory. This is proof that when we get organised, we win.
A vision of a world where everyone can thrive is more powerful than the far right’s hatred and division.
And far more popular.
🧵
People power in full force to elect @greenpartyhan.bsky.social in Gorton and Denton today 💪
The data is clear: it's Green vs Reform. And we're out on the doors for the final push.
Choose hope. VOTE HANNAH 💚

In May, elections take place across the UK.
Farage wants to sweep the board with his politics of hate. Not on our watch.
We’re organising to beat the far right + elect candidates fighting for lower bills, warm homes & clean air.

But young people’s support is not unconditional - we will only back candidates who will keep fighting for climate action and a future where we can thrive. We urge the Plaid Cymru leadership to reverse this decision before it’s too late.
Gwynfor Edwards, Wales Organiser
Abandoning their climate commitments as we head into these crucial elections tells a very different story.
Until now, our movement had been planning to go all in for Plaid in the Senedd elections.
In May, Plaid could become the next government of Wales on a wave of young, progressive votes. They say a vote for them is the best way to beat Reform and build a hopeful future for the country.
🚨Urgent statement on @plaidcymru.bsky.social's decision to abandon its pledge for Wales to reach net zero by 2035
This u-turn is a betrayal of Wales and a betrayal of young people at a time when climate change is hitting us harder than ever.

a graphic saying '63% say they have cut back on essentials because of the cost of living crisis', with some trollies illustrating the proportion.
Almost two thirds of people in the UK have cut back on essentials due to the cost of living. The crisis isn’t over — it’s getting worse.
Today we're launching the Cost of Living Action campaign, calling on the Government to end this crisis and ensure it never happens again.
❌We don’t need water company ‘MOTs’ and stickers on dishwashers.
We need real action to fix a system that has been ripping people off and illegally dumping sewage with no accountability.
We need public ownership.

Decisions to tax online gambling firms and scrap the cruel two child benefit caps are long overdue wins for campaigners but the failure to introduce wealth taxes is a historic missed opportunity and political own goal which begs the question: whose side is this govt really on?
Instead, this patchwork of tax changes leave the fortunes of the very richest almost entirely untouched, while millions of ordinary people will have to pay more as a result of freezing income tax thresholds.
Bringing in proper wealth taxes could have unlocked tens of billions for the investment in schools, hospitals, jobs and climate action we desperately need.
We are living through a devastating climate crisis, as well as suffering from extortionate housing costs whilst bills just keep rising.
This makes us the first generation set to be poorer than our parents - all while the super-rich hoard more wealth than ever before.
