Imagine seeing a Grimace hit by a car on the side of the road. For us it’s the stuff of nightmares but for motorists in McDonaldLand it is the grim reality of everyday life

I know this is not far off from the steak too juicy/lobster too buttery paradigm, but I really do think that sometimes chocolate chip cookies have too many chocolate chips. Cancel me if you must.

Like so, SO many things in our greedy, selfish, stupid, pretentious, entitled society, this is case of something meant for the disabled being so grossly abused by everyone for personal convenience that the inevitable backlash will ultimately result in life being harder for disabled people

RIP. I will never forget the police brutalizing him — and then that one cop stopping the other cop from helping him

No relief for anyone in Lebanon. Israel is hammering Beirut so that Bibi can appear independent of Washington to his fanatic murderous base, a base that can only be sated with Arab blood. Hundreds of casualties just in the last 12 hours. Israel is the most dangerously country on earth.

I know it is small compared to the football stadiums they’ve been playing the past few years but Metallica calling a 10,000 seater “intimate” in this email still got me for some reason

Iran condemns double-tap strike on bridge as terrorism

This is what the government here describes as a terrorist-style kind of action.

That’s because the second tap was not expected. Usually, when there is a strike, people rush to the scene to rescue the victims and remove the debris that buries some of the dead and so on, and that’s what happened at that bridge.

Those people, including rescue workers and also the workers at the bridge itself, gathered to help the wounded, and that’s when the second strike hit. That’s why the number of casualties is high, and the authorities here are really, really condemning this as an act of terrorism, and also a despicable act that’s not going to force Iran to surrender.

It’s a message to the Iranians that if they don’t strike a deal that is to the liking of the US president, they will see more of their civilian infrastructure targeted and more of their civilian people killed.

Not a hard and fast rule for me, but I’ve always thought this is fine to do at bigger shows at arenas or stadiums. Club shows, not so much, but I won’t yuck anyone’s yum over it
