Stripped tomato branches with 12 cherry tomatoes dangling down the branch, as well as other random tomatoes. These plants are staked, covered, suckers have been plucked, and excess leaves have been removed.

(This is what this variety looks like when properly staked and cared for, like on my brother’s farm.)

By the time I figured out I had made a terrible mistake, it was too late. So there’s some emergency staking in there from when I attempted damage control.

Judging by the amount of tomatoes I missed that are now on the ground, next year’s crop will be even more robust.

That wisp is now overproducing.

That wisp is now overproducing.

I should start this off by saying, I did NOT plant any cherry tomatoes this year.

I did, however, clean out my tomato bed and transplant soil to a spot in my yard that needed grading and in which nothing grows.

I saw a few volunteers sprout but didn’t think anything of it.

I remember in nursing school, one of my patients was on suicide watch for throwing himself out of a moving car after both his kids tested negative for the Huntington’s gene. He was so relieved - but so done with his own hellish existence. I hope this continues and brings peace to those with it.

Cue another wave of lawyers quitting, since this will be legally indefensible.

As a kid, I just thought he was more exuberant 🤷🏻‍♀️ (and I’m not going to lie, services he cantored got pretty overwhelming because you’re not expecting or desiring long operatic performances at 7:45 on a Saturday morning in a small synagogue in Green Bay, WI, but there we were.)

We had a Gabbi growing up who I believe was Bukharan - wore this type of thing, had the right facial features, was “not from Russia but nearby,” spoke a language no one knew, interesting guy. Had been an opera singer before migrating to the US. I could see him rocking this.

I know they’re dangerous and not a good thing to have near by, but they’re also gorgeous 😍

But also, and this is my favorite absolutely fvcking bonkers work story - one of my last days as an ICU RN before transitioning to NP, I accurately called botulism in a patient based off what I saw in ducks as a 16 year old. Why do I remember a botulism outbreak in ducks? My brother brought one home

I explained what I thought was his line of thinking (above, correct) and also that they can breathe through their skin and it was a super good question.

She still brings it up, laughing, that not only could another ADHD person track the train of thought, but then would infodump the answer.

I had a friend post a conversation with her son on FB, where she was telling him about having her gallbladder removed and he responded with, “how do frogs breathe underwater?” Asked for an explanation of how the hell he got there.

Gallbladder >> air bladder in fish >> ???frog bladder?

10000%. My brain, our brains, are incredible. One friend, autistic AF, works in Safety in microbiology- he actually enjoys reading regulations, legal code, and filling out paperwork to help make others safer. My ADHD nightmare is his happy place and vice versa. We have the best conversations.

Like…Jewish people can show up looking like that - the men don’t, in my experience, but whatever - but generally visitors tend to try to fit in with the neutral coat and not-making-it-about-them thing. Maybe he was thinking it was Purim?

So, like, they’re amazing but also, know your room and audience? This was not it.

I like that ABC chose *not* to put that on their main part of the video. I also like that his lapel from a distance looks like it matches the minbar.

My second, I worked 12 hour shifts up until literally the day before she was born. Also with the grossly pitting edema. Also with the hip dysfunction, but worse this time because 2 year old wanting uppies.

I was diagnosed with EDS 3 years later.

The soft man can go fvck himself.

I had a 61 hour labor with my first. I worked 8-12 hour shifts prior to her birth. I had such bad pitting edema by the end, I was wearing size 10 crocs to work. I wear a 7.5 normally. They missed the epidural the first time because I apparently developed some mild scoliosis as well.

“That’s not supposed to happen” was her exact response.

I also got punched by a patient with dementia, in the belly, who then also twisted my spine (probably the cause of some of the SI dysfunction), which required months of PT. Yes, an 80-something year old woman kicked my pregnant ass and won.

I’m just going to put it out there that during my pregnancies, not only did my pubic bones shift, but my SI joints apparently shifted in the *opposite* direction of each pubic bone and so I had to do different exercises on each side to *checks notes* put my hips back in place per my PT.

I did that and installed a barrier between my yard and the neighbor’s yard so I stop getting their honeysuckle, buckthorn, bellflower, and bindweed. Or at least slow it down. Multiple layers of yard fabric obviously didn’t cut it 🤦🏻‍♀️

I made what I thought was a joke in 2015 that he was the MFing Dajjal, but I have become less convinced of that by the day since.
