Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

Let’s be clear about what happened to Jimmy Kimmel Trump’s most brazen attack on free speech yet.

After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.

They can’t win through their disastrous policies, so they try to win via disenfranchisement. Pathetic and disgusting.

Gus Speth: "I used to think that top environmental problems were biodiversity loss, ecosystem collapse and climate change. I thought that 30 years of good science could address these problems. I was wrong. The top environmental problems are selfishness, greed and apathy...”

Rather than admit their mistake and let this poor man go home to his family, they double down and villainize him for absolutely no reason but wounded pride and unadulterated cruelty.

Some things are inherently for the public good and should never have a profit motive!

Ban congressional stock trading.

For all members of Congress.
For their spouses & dependents.
For the president & vice president. Period.

I can’t believe I’m reposting something Ann Coulter wrote and I might have thrown up in my mouth a little bit when I hit that button… but she is correct on this one

It also provides ongoing slave labor due to a loophole in the 13th amendment. There is exploitation of people - mostly black men and men of color - from profiting off of incarceration itself plus the labor the prisoners provide. It’s nothing short of ongoing state-sanctioned slavery.

Trump seems to be trying to win the “worst president in history” distinction.

I don’t care who is on the Epstein list from a political perspective, we just need to know. We deserve to know the names of those in public service that are participating in or covering up the abuse of girls and women. And there needs to be consequences whether you like their politics or not.

And if there are Democrats on it, we deserve to know that as well. We shouldn’t be protecting any of these people regardless of whether we agree with them politically or not!

Senate Ds did fight every step of way, made the bill toxic, forced Tillis to retire, made them vote in broad daylight as bill got worse, nixed some truly awful parts. They need more members. In 2026, vote out every R. That is what the lesson is here.

Perhaps the GOP should do something crazy like, I don’t know, actually negotiating a bipartisan bill that doesn’t fuck over the working class to further enrich people who couldn’t spend all their money in 10 generations 🤷🏻‍♀️

I find this so maddening. He scrapped an agreement that was working and now he wonders why Iran is back to developing nukes. WHY did people vote for this idiot?

Exclusive: Democrats want new leaders, focus on pocketbook issues, Reuters/Ipsos poll finds The poll identified a deep disconnect between what Democrats say their priorities are and the issues they believe party leaders care about most ahead of next year's midterm elections, when they hope to crack Republican control of Congress

Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Every "less-than-lethal" bullet pulled from a journalist's eye could be already needed healthcare for anyone else. All of this is a choice.

He was so bad (in points) in the beginning that I probably sat him just in time for him to start racking them up! 😂

I wouldn’t be upset if they were trash this year resulting in Tomlin leaving and an early draft pick for (hopefully) a future franchise QB. It’s going to hurt rooting for a team led by Aaron Fucking Rodgers anyway
