The 25th is a NONSTARTER. Removal via 25th is harder than impeachment. It requires 2/3 of the House as well as 2/3 of the Senate. It is completely impossible.

One of the things about Kash Patel is that he reminds me that most of Trump's cabinet would do less shitty jobs if they spent more of their time blind drunk.
Indeed, we leave one of them behindin the primary. Fortunately, I can't vote for all three even if I wanted to. And I don't be voting for whoever is in third in the final poll before the primary.
I want either Katie Porter, Tom Steyer, or Xavier Becerra to be the next California governor. As in, I actively and enthusiastically want one of them. Any one of them.
I do have a preference, but compared with wanting one of those three as opposed to anyone else, my preference is very mild.
a thing that i learned after living in portland for a few years was that the line between left and libertarian is frequently a lot blurrier than people on either side of it think it is
I think we see how they wound up with so many scandals. The FBI is evidently populated primarily by dumbfucks.
Ambrose Bierce once defined 'appeal', in law, as "to put the dice back in the cup for another throw." It feels like randomly choosing which justices will hear a case is effectively playing the lottery for the outcome.
Call me crazy but I think Donald Trump is purposely sabotaging America
NASA reminded us all that, even in the darkest of times, our flag is still there. 🇺🇸 ❤️
sorry to get political but we should probably avoid electing unmedicated, clinically insane people as president in the future
Everyone should do ads like this.
He deleted it! Weak! He's so weak.
Just saying. The same way that if he were a russian agent, he would be behaving exactly as he is; if he were intending to make himself into the fictional antichrist, he would be behaving exactly as he is.
"...the son of destruction, who opposes and who exalts himself over every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits down in the temple of God, proclaiming that he himself is God."
"And he will speak words against the Most High, and he will wear out the holy ones of the Most High, and he will attempt to change times and law, and they will be given into his hand for a time and two times..."
I’ve heard people talk about the 1920s, 1930s, 1950s, 1970s, and 1980s as times in US history where everything was hunky-dory economically compared to today, and as best as I can tell they’re just referencing the cozy vibe of period-piece movies and TV they’ve seen
Something like this will have to happen in this country once Trumpism is defeated. In the absence of accountability, the world will rightly assume that it will happen again.
The Pope is WEAK on crime is so gd funny; I am HOWLING
“The Pope is weak on crime” is one of those things that’s not just too absurd to have been believed if it were fictitious, it’s too absurd for someone to have invented it as fiction.
It’s profoundly ignorant to suggest that the Pope should be fighting crime on behalf of the Catholic Church. Anyone who was remotely familiar with Roman Catholicism would know that that’s what Daredevil is for
The end of Viktor Orbán’s autocratic regime is a victory not just for Hungary, but for people who value democracy around the world. Congratulations to Tisza, to incoming leader Péter Magyar, and to Hungarians everywhere.
The rave I'm gonna throw when It Happens is going to be so fucking good lol
Regret to inform everyone that Peter Magyar beat the world’s smartest illiberal populist in large measure by working incredibly hard for 2 straight years, meaning the rest of us are just going to have to get off our asses and do shit rather than just complaining.
in addition to this (which i agree with), something that should put some wind in your sails is that orbán actually *was* the competent competitive authoritarian (relatively) everyone worries about, he had a stronger grip on power than i think trump ever has, and he had it for far longer
People keep talking about the 25th Amendment, which has never removed a president and never will.
Meanwhile there's another amendment that's removed four of them, but of course we on our side don't ever talk about it, and would never advocate using it.
I gotta say, the US considered it progressive to have a Black president, and the UK before that made headlines with a woman as prime minister... but Israel electing a Fundamentalist Christian as prime minister has been underreported.
Killmonger’s a great example of how having a legitimate, righteous grievance does not legitimize any action you decide to take to redress that grievance.
Democrats are treating Rep. Eric Swalwell like a person who has been credibly accused of sexual misconduct, including rape. It doesn’t matter that he’s a Democrat — they’re appalled and not in denial. That’s the difference between the two parties.
