Can't say I'm in favor of longer speeches. Great opportunity, but too many winners stall at their seat to dab up their squad and get them airtime, leaving little for speech. Get to the stage and let the cameras cut away to their squad when mentioned. And delegate one speaker per award.

It's front-loaded with too much of that, and the broadcast is clunky, but I tend to quickly forget winners and presenters, and walk away feeling like they spent plenty of airtime celebrating a dozen or so movies in a variety of ways.
