Yes.
What should I spend any potential christmas money on?
1. A commuter motor scooter.
Would allow me to scooter my way to my local train station, for railfanning, jobs, maybe even school.
2. Model trains.
Would make me a very happy boi.
3. Save it for my eventual move to the uk.
I don't see a no parking sign
Not exactly a fully americanized black 5, but it's got the most important bit.
Not to say there aren't good polar expresses in the uk; at least this one uses an American built locomotive.
The cowcatcher kinda looks bad, and the bell would look better above the smokebox door, like the real thing, but still.
Every year, at least one heritage railway has some form of GWR locomotive cosplay as the polar express. Why gwr? Why can't they A̶b̶u̶s̶e̶ use an engine from another railway?
Anyways... It creates some... odd looks.
This is coming from someone who fucking loves British steam trains with american bits.
Im calling Lego train protective services.
A 4-8-4 tank engine with the letters L&BER on its tanks.
The Irish 4-8-4.
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO AGREES WITH ME
If you see this post a vehicle
And i was right. I fled my bio family's place in late February, and today, it was decided that he should be put down. I was informed this about 2 hours before it happened. I held him in my arms as he passed away.
A few years now, back when I lived with my bio family, we adopted this senior cat named riley. I showed him a lot of love in these first days. He quickly chose me as his person.
When I fled my bio family's place, I couldn't bring me with him. When i left, I knew he didn't have much longer.
Some info about the pic:
Taken a few blocks away from tacoma dome station, in tacoma, Washington, United States, at the BNSF yard, on November 27th.
Can't decide if this is a good picture or not. Lovely people of bluesky, help me decide.
Or even better, maybe we could see apple green on an A4 for the first time in decades.
Bittern cosplaying as silver link.
I think this needs to be done again with sir Nigel gresley.
Let's never forget that city of truro briefly looked like this.
The flying scotsman on tour in the US. Seen here with the later repaint of the cowcatcher.
Flying scotsman usa tour. In the condition it arrived in, witn the completely red cowcatcher blending in with its buffer bufferbeam.
Literally the definition of a badass pair of pictures.
Other engines like this.
Yeah, I've heard of her. Poor thing.
"Howdy fellow AMERICAN trains, boy howdy i love being AN AMERICAN TRAIN"
the joke is that this engine is obviously not an American engine.
You aren't missing much, it seems like the whole state had a massive storm last night
Peak graphic design.
A map of the state of washington with various BIG WIND and BIG SNOW warning messages on the coast, to the southwest and in the mountain passes. Two stick figures ponder the situation. One says "Wow, that doesn't look fun to travel in!" The other says "It's like they're trying to tell us something!" There's also some snow in the eastern foothills, and while it won't be as bad, we didn't want them to feel left out.
If you're looking for an excuse to delay your travel today. THIS IS YOUR SIGN. In flashing neon letters!
It will only be a winter wonderland in the sense that you'll be wondering where the heck you are on any given patch of land.

People of bluesky, is this a good advertisement. It's for the replica LMS Patriot, "the unknown warrior" locomotive.
