Sexism as non-cathartic systemic societal control AND systemic problems recast as individual-level problems enable tons of exploitation rewarding those exploiters, and so on and so on and so on.
Also: all roads lead to ableism.
Girls of all neurotypes are called upon to master masking incredibly early. Expressing anger is kept from them, for example. Self-control is pressed upon them. See also: "Keep sweet. Pray and Obey".
As long as boys aren't too disruptive for their environment, "Boys will be boys" rules the day.
Cultural traditions like hospitality and home-based festival celebrations run on the thankless physical, emotional, and spiritual efforts of girls and women.
When I was a child, teachers sat the best girl students next to disruptive boy students. The girls were responsible for keeping the boys calm so that the teacher could continue teaching.
This sort of emotional regulation by proxy, using girls and women to calm boys and men, still happens.
