Atlanta’s World Cup dream has a public bathroom problem Atlanta does not have enough public bathrooms to accommodate the hundreds of thousands of visitors coming to the Peach State for the World Cup, but here are some solutions.

The City of Atlanta, which spans an area of 134 square miles with over half a million residents, has exactly 18 free public bathrooms.

Only three are open 24/7, four require permission, five are single-stall facilities, and only five are located downtown.
