Nobody is better on benefits nobody. Even if we play the game of yes they are, what does that say about wages paid by companies. A large percentage of people that are on UC are in full time work.

And from experience I'll tell you that legislation to protect disabled people in work is bollocks. I was wrongfully dismissed. Company I worked for said I'd resigned when I hadn't and forged my exit interview

If I sent you my c.v and you as a manager we're looking to employ someone I'd not even get an interview with over five years off work and disability. I've seen how managers look through applications and how they whittle applicants down

I've been a few of those,I'm working class and you're talking bollocks

I'm disabled and can assure you I'm not better off than when I was in work. They are also cutting access to work. So how is that helping getting disabled people back to work? Some people are just not able to work no matter what sound bites are churned out.

Not all the cuts, check what's happening to the health part of UC plus mobility scheme. We disabled folk have taken a kicking then add to that stance on trans folk and policies on immigration. If you don't know about the palantir maybe go have a look.

Have more than three periods of sick leave in a year, disciplinary. Employ a corrupt best friend of human trafficking paedophile no fucking problem

A person on a zero hour contract has more accountability on them than the leader of the country. M.Ps can just say sorry and we are expected to move on. Fucking sick of them all.

Every day we seem to just get a snapshot into what these fuckers are like. I shudder to think what else is to be revealed and what we will never know.

Reform Party UK sharing Pro-ICE posts on social media. They support seizing 5 year olds as bait, and the extra judicial murder of civilians.

Man executed by death squad

2 months ago 0 0 0 0

The day to day stress of being disabled is exasperated by the people that should be looking after us.

2 months ago 0 0 0 0

I really hope there is a plan in all this as the squad is pretty thin as it stands. I know the money will be useful in the summer but it's very worrying. UTV ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’™

Respite from worrying about the brown envelope from the DWP dropping through his letter box.

Not so bad thank you, trying to sort care out for ageing parents that don't want any is a challenge. Yep blackbirds were yelling at something or someone this morning.

I did. Please don't assume I can't see what is In front of my eyes and that I don't have access to be able to read reports on immigration. All this is doing is legitimiseing Reforms racism.
As I've said, a policy being applauded by Robinson and Benjamin should be some sort of moral barometer.

I'm one of your constituents and this is repulsive.

When I spoke to you earlier in the year I was concerned about language used by the Labour party it has since led to more extreme language such as the Powell island of strangers speech from Starmer and now people like Benjamin and Robinson approve of your policies. @samanthaniblett.bsky.social

There are a lot of communities on Bluesky that are afraid and angry.
How are they to communicate when we are not listened to?
If we are not listened to when we are civil, then what? We have little to no power.

We may be disabled but we are not daft and no amount of spin can make all of this right. The bill really should have been paused for proper assessment with us included in the discussion. It's left me feeling depressed and saddened that those that are voted into power to protect us have failed us.
