Despite everything else, that makes it a good day.

Maybe being a little anxious was valid. Body is sore from today, just some slightly different repetitive motions that I'm not use to at the moment.

I should not be anxious about today. But I am. Stupid brain and anxiety signals.

In this specific case, there's a role that wants 4 years of experience. I have a year and a half. And yet, the manager over the position said to go for it. Had the interview yesterday, and sounds positive overall.

I'm surprised how far I'm getting by going "fuck it, I can do that."

Picking up FFXIV again and doing some of the patch content dungeons for Dawntrail. Do I remember these fights? Fuck no. Do I remember how to read mechanics well enough to get through them pretty damn well? Yes! :D

In my defense, I genuinely didn't feel hungry. Body just needed some different nutrients than I had given it today so far, I guess?

Massive headache today, end up laying around and just kinda miserable after doing my running around. Finally peel myself out of bed and shove some more food in my face, and the headache recedes a little bit. I feel stupid, but also this reinforces my "I suck at reading my needs bars."

And also have a handful of non-ghost type pokemon they retained from their travels as a Trainer, including a couple of dark types to help keep the more troublesome wild ghosts from causing too many problems.

The character's primary way of helping quell the wild ghosts would actually be telling them stories and reading books to them. The manor would eventually be mostly restored, and converted into a library/Pokemon Gym.

The Gym Leader would probably have trained one of almost all non-legendary ghosts.

And being that it was an Alpha Pokemon, it also had been (relatively) keeping them in line. The character would decide to release the Annihilape back at the mansion to draw ghost types there again, and actually join in helping manage the various wild ghosts as well.

The Annihilape would ultimately be defeated, and captured by this character. But within a week or two, the town itself would be plagued by the ghosts who had called the mansion home.

The character would come to understand that the Alpha Annihilape had been drawing the ghosts to the mansion.

They probably traveled to a couple different regions, and ultimately made their way back home with a much better understanding of ghost types as a whole. They would go to the manor to confront the ghost types within and hopefully calm them.

Within, they found an Alpha Annihilape.

This character would have left for a time to go on their own pokemon journey, but started with a small gastly they had captured from the abandoned manor. While not solely a trainer of ghost types, they would certainly have always had an interest in them, and tried to learn as much as possible.

The story went that a terrible accident befell the family who owned the manor long ago, involving a huge, red-eyed, angry wild pokemon and shortly thereafter they left the manor. Ghost types became drawn to the place, and it was more-or-less decided to let the ghosts use it as their new habitat.

Just some babbling about a Pokemon Gym Leader and their gym, because I like ghost types and always thought being a ghost leader would be cool.

The town they're from popped up around a large (now abandoned) manor with gardens and fruit/berry tree groves.
