I've said it before, but this wouldn't be a problem if businesses just tailored hours of operation to local daylight hours.

But potion seller, I tell you I am going into battle, and I want only your strongest potions.

Is that not what the sitting barrels are for?

Good comic overall, but the random hobbit hole in the cliff was the cherry on top.

That's disappointing, though it will probably be better for you in the long run to diversify games anyway.

I've done them a good bit, though admittedly on my way to do an ancient meg hunt. Pretty good for knocking out the last bit of emissary flag level. Weirdly done the boar hunts the least.

Really surprised by this given those are now out of reach for older players. But I'm glad they are still there.

Fyi, confirmed during the Bilge Rat Weekender that, while ashen chests and tomes no longer sell for doubloons, there’s still a chance to find doubloon pouches inside the chests. Only worth 5 doubloons, but it is another source.

I love them. Fits the theme of the group well, and incentivizes old school fishing without taking a lot of time.

The rewards would probably need to be toned down a bit, but otherwise I’d love if they were a regular feature.

I see no reason why Flameheart shouldn’t be able to astrally project his big noggin.

While it is always funny when leopards eat a face, I'd honestly feel better if we could get rid of the leopards.

Right, but my point is that the core elements are present in all the games to some extent or another, and could be present in a movie adaptation whether they model closely after a specific era or create one of their own.

I think as long as I have something worth working towards and/or friends to sail with, I'll be around for a bit. That said, if I finally get all but the gold hourglass curses and the updates stay at a Smuggler level of quality, it'd probably lose my attention eventually.

If it were me, I'd approach it the same way they approached making the leap to 3D; take inspiration from the previous games, but tailor them to the strengths of the new medium.

I think the feel of "Zelda" is more important than which eras or games they take inspiration from, and I think limiting themselves to only one era would be needlessly limiting. Though I'd be surprised if they didn't focus primarily on BotW and/or OoT, with nods to other popular elements.

Agreed. They claim to be working on both, which is good, but they've said that before to mixed results at best. So up to you whether it's worth waiting and seeing what they do this time. For me, I'll likely keep playing for a while as long as they don't break the game.

That said, I don't hate the Bilge Rat Weekender. The two new cosmetics are cool enough for this old pirate to take part, and I'm happy newer players have ways of getting older exclusives. It's nowhere near what the game needs for the long run, but not a terrible addition.

I don't anticipate anything truly "new" until Season 21, given the scope of this season was scaled back and 20 is focusing almost entirely on custom servers. Fingers crossed they are cooking up something worth while and give themselves the time to execute it.

I'd rather they do an original story for the movie. Would allow them to include nods to the most iconic parts of the franchise but in a way more tailored to a feature length film, which I feel usually works out for the better in these kinds of adaptations.

Yup, just saw the pic. Glad it's not a recolor. Looks more similar to the Ashen curse, but more glowing red scars as opposed to the orange inner glow.

I also need to see more of the new curse. From the preview, it seems awfully similar to the Legendary Curse. I'll be pretty disappointed if it's just a red recolor, which may be enough for me to not adopt it. If I do though, a corruption theme could be interesting. Perhaps something like a vampire?

So, the question becomes, do I stick to that limit? And if so, do I make this curse the last one? It's probably going to come down to if I have a good idea that feels unique from what I've done previously. Though, I'll inevitably have the same issue when they make another curse.

That number was chosen arbitrarily, being the number of captaincy ship titles (ignoring the "Legendary" versions). But also, every new set becomes a little harder to create while avoiding overlap, as the number of unique items needed expands exponentially.

New #seaofthieves curse being sold by Duke for doubloons. The closest thing I have to a gimmick for this game is designing pirate outfits and ships with inspiration from each curse, excluding Hourglass ones. But I had originally planned to limit this to 9 sets.
