Week one of VFT ownership. The red traps are a great sign, he's clearly got enough light and water. I didn't realize how thirsty these little guys are, I've been needing to refill the water every couple of days so I swapped out his little dish for a more permanent plastic solution that I can fill with more water. Hopefully this should work well. I've trimmed his flower stalk back with the hopes of growing more traps. I'd like to see him get bigger eventually. Waiting on distilled water and mealworms for some snacks to keep him happy and fertilized as needed. I've been using a Brita filter in the meantime to give him something mostly filtered and giving the water a quick warm in the microwave to degas any chlorine or fluoride that may be in the water out. The Brita seems to be working ok for now but I plan on swapping to distilled as soon as I can.

Also I'm thinking about starting to record when I play DBD and post the videos on YouTube, I've had filmora for awhile and never used it. So I can actually edit videos, I've just been lazy 😅

It's nice being on bluesky, my entire feed is just cats and clips of DBD and fortnite lel. I was starting to lose my mind with all the political tweets and hate tweets LMFAO
