The difference between this and a more traditional Hydrophone is the sensor. Normally they would use a piezo disk and here we use the geophone sensor, which specialises in capturing low frequency sound as well as infrasound. The key specs are on the website for comparison.

Four pieces written for just intonation, short pieces of improvisation are used as samples from which to re-compose. One note from the previous chord becomes to key center for the next chord, and becomes the root for the purposes of tuning the intervallic relationship in a just tuning.
