And Bondi had a binder in her desk called the Epstein List.

I wish the Democrats would've worked on election law and Supreme Court reforms more effectively during Biden's first two years. Both would have strengthened our democracy.

A WHOLE CIVILIZATION
WILL DIE TONIGHT
My son needs lunch, and I have to put his backpack together, but a whole civilization will die tonight, so I'm wondering if they've closed their schools.
Like, a snow day, maybe, except instead of snow it's
"keep your children home so if you die, you die together" — instead of "well open back up once the plows have cleared" it's
"we don't know if we'll be here tomorrow, hold your babies tight."
It's just "talk" I'm told, which I've been told before.
"It's how the president makes his deals." But I've never heard anyone talk about other human beings this way, and I'm not certain I can look my son in the eyes if we all agree to stomach it one more time.
A civilization will die tonight, but as I zip up his backpack and kiss him off to school I think: if this is what we call leadership then I'm not entirely sure ours isn't already dead.

"A foreign war that craters the economy and justifies emergency powers isn’t a bug in that plan. It’s the missing piece."

While conspiratorial, the explanation that this war fits perfectly into Project 2025 plans to take over elections makes the most sense in comparison to what the WH says.

When you know you're violating the law, you need to hide your actions.

U.S. oil company owners will see their wealth skyrocket with these increasing oil prices. Isn't this what Drumpf promised them when he met with them during his campaign? Promises made, promises kept! Who benefits? Who suffers? #boycotbigoil

RFK Jr.'s refusal to move ink this outbreak is MAHA. This administration is a total farce.

It's about priorities. If Trump can make a buck, national security be damned.

His weakness as a leader is revealed by doubling down on his mistakes rather than admitting to the error in his policies. Average Americans will suffer the consequences while the richest receive refunds owed to those who paid the taxes on higher costs.

Thank you for opposing ICE funding in light of actions that undermine protections and basic dignity. Officers who use excessive force against American citizens should be held accountable under the law, and agency leadership must be subject to oversight when they fail to uphold the constitution.

Can I use these for my sign board and dress as ANTIFA?

This is why we need investigative journalists! Thanks for the reporting that led to light being shined on this extravagant spending!

You can't trust anything Speaker Johnson says about the government being open in order to negotiate. He has no intention of finding healthcare for people when he thinks billionaires need tax breaks. Stay strong!

Who paid for the repairs for damage done when the statue was removed illegally by the park police?

We cannot depend on the courts to protect American citizens. Ironically, we should be able to count on military personnel to protect us, instead of using blue cities as lethal training grounds.

And Drumpf is bragging about taking things the people like away from them. Don't give in.

That is wonderful news, indeed! Let's not rush to de-list them so we can continue to improve their habitat.

This Oregonian urges you to stand firm defending the people's needs against this corrupt Administration's efforts to take our rights away. Do not cave to their continued attempts to enrich the oligarchy.

Drumpf's refusal to negotiate in good faith reflects directly on his so-called "master" negotiator abilities, or more accurately, abilities. Don't cave. Hold strong.

These criminal masked men can't tell an immigrant female from an American citizen who is female. I doubt it's only immigrant females who feel terrorized. What's to stop illegal immigrant gang members from adopting this practice in retribution to the Drumpf Administration?

Dehumanizing language backfires. When people are called names, they only dig in deeper. Coates’ point is simple: he won’t cross that line, because refusing to dehumanize is the real standard.

Any shutdown resulting from the GOP refusal to negotiate in good faith is on them! Please stand firm in your resolve to force a budget that benefits the people.

There isn't any doubt that both autocratic leaders have admiration for each other. As a weak and ineffective leader, Drumpf jealously looks upon Putin's strength and power.

Donald Drumpf is the biggest loser... a poor one to boot. His EOs are an indication of weakness. And don't forget the worst polling in presidential history, even worse than the first term he held office. Is it any wonder he resorts to authoritarian tactics? Weakest loser of all.

It's a good reminder how effective the right language can be when framing the debate.
