Concept sketches of "Goober beans" who "are lil' puppy groundnuts that Nutt T. and Willow cultivate together. They grow quickly, in size and vigor, and are often loyal, energetic, and li'l balls of sunshine!" The are basically little dogs with peanut-shaped heads and bodies, with their ears, legs, tail, nose, and eyes all brown beans. They're based on real-life goober peas.

On one night home front the Forest Maze, Mallow and Geno encountered a familiar bird.
