App Store screenshots are weirdly expensive in attention. no cloud and no account is the right scope for a utility like this

yeah exactly, the privacy thing resonates more than i expected. people are tired of their stuff going through someone's cloud.

cross platform was never tempting, the whole point was native and fast. SwiftUI made that easy and the performance is way better than anything web based. zero network access basically removes a whole category of review questions too.

totally agree, local first just makes sense for this kind of tool. approval was actually pretty smooth, about 48 hours. the zero network entitlements probably made the review straightforward since there's nothing to scrutinize privacy wise.
