I just happened to be reading this book this morning when I learned about Palantir’s manifesto—good timing in bad times.
😂
It's 18:00 and it's dark already 😩
Not one that roars like a T-Rex. These guys make much coolers sounds.
Dang! Yeah I can eat lots of different tripe. But I could never do sheep stomach.
Ooh, I will!
😂 My condolences. For some it's still a delicacy.
Afval (tripe) potjie (pot). Basically sheep stomach stew. Some tripe is pretty good actually (like oxtail, shanks, tongue etc.). But there is nothing like being in the house while my mom cooked sheep stomach in preparation to make this stew variant. Smelled so bad..🤢
One of the worst smelling stuff in the world...🤢
Called it 😂

Holy moly! This is BIG news for folks in #Lesotho and #SouthAfrica.
#Passports will no longer be needed for #border crossing--only National IDs. And you will not have to stop to stamp on both sides!
Also an amnesty for #Basotho who have overstayed.
So much here that ppl have been pushing for!
The scourge of online betting (sports bets & “prediction markets”) needs to reined in. These tons are everywhere just watch the latest Last Week Tonight & read this. There is no social good coming from this shit no matter what the CEOs say.

We are looking at a painting of St Liphardus - a 6th-century lawyer, hermit and abbot in Meung-sur-Loire near Orléans, France. He is wearing bishops clothing including a surplus and mitre and is holding a crook. On a lead is a small knee high green and blue dragon.
We’re very sorry sir but you cannot bring your emotional support dragon in here.
Jumping between co-op and social deduction these days.
Artists, if you see this, post a dog (old drawing I made as a gift for a friend)

Another dry, sunny autumn day in #NorthJozi before the unseasonal rain predicted for the rest of the week.

board gamers we've been clocked
Acherontia atropos Brown form. A caterpillar the size of my finger. It has a big cream head with brown spots in the middle and a brown body with black spots.
Found this guy yesterday on the lawn. It's the size and thickness of one of my fingers. Also is turns into a pretty metal moth (Death's Head hawkmoth). But you'll have to click on the wiki link to see how it looks like. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acheron...
Been seeing lots of posts in the wild!
Cat Distribution System strikes again
This article is weird. France isn't switching to Linux because Windows is bad - it's switching because Microsoft is a US company, US companies fall under US law, and thus simply cannot be trusted with EU data. Windows can't "solve" this. There's no "fix" here.

There is nothing like reading a well written board game rulebook. Most of the time you just suffer through it. But dang, is it pleasant when you find one that works. Is it a skill to parse rulebooks? Sure. But its so helpful to have one that works and makes my life easier when I need to teach it.
I have seen some ones with serious security here in South Africa. I was wondering if that just being prepared for the coming public backlash, but I guess this makes more sense.
absolutely not
