I'm thankful to @robcloughhighlow.bsky.social for picking up some of my slack but there's only so much anyone can do.

It's a reminder to me that a lot of small press comics as an "industry" (lol) is held together by shoestrings and passion.

And I say this not because I'm looking for sympathetic comments but because I think it's a lot easier to "do the third job" of running a nonprofit when things are going well. @fieldmouse.press has truly been on a back burner, and it's been extremely frustrating.

The last three months have been, honestly, some of the worst of my adult life.
