Fair, but not stranded in the sense that if either of them had a medical emergency, they’d have no way to get back to Earth. By their accounts, other than expected muscle atrophy, they seem to be fine with their extended last mission. Just seems like a loaded word to use.

They are not “stranded” per se. There is a shuttle docked at the ISS. They could have been sent home already but it’s outside protocol for them to leave before the next crew arrives for debrief.
