One thing profs used to do is multiple choice so knowing the order of magnitude or direction of the answer made it v fast to answer something that looked like a long calculation.

The students should want that too. A closed book, calculator free exam was always easier to study for.

If he thought he could use our money to buy himself a private jet just imagine what's on his phone records he doesn't want us to see.

I can’t stop thinking about the guy at the dog park yesterday who had 1 Corgi and 1 Great Dane. Who wouldn’t want his life?

A friend is in Boston for the marathon and he shared photos of himself with the cherry blossoms. 🌸

You would think they mean fiscally responsible when they call themselves fiscally conservative… and yet…

The cost of a jet is trivial compared with the financial transactions a government could hide without freedoms of information requests.

He gave me a LOOK. It was very clear what he was thinking 😂

I tried to let the dog out and he was so annoyed with me (believes I control the weather).

I’m having my own droplet debate in my head on the sidewalks of Toronto.

Daughters bedroom air quality tonight vs a couple of nights ago. It's great to have her learning the benefit of fresh indoor air in improving sleep and reducing illness.

For those around tonight, our documentary “Summit 72” — all four episodes— is on CBC tv tonight. I co wrote and co directed it, and was the music producer, and it’s a compelling, historic tale. Produced by the brilliant folks at Mercury Films.

Watching an expert repair worn jeans in his little shop in japan is pretty much the best relaxing content on the internet.

I'm deep into clothing repair instagram and just saw that opening the seam of the lining at the shoulder is a good option. Also there are apparently some ace tailors in Toronto who can replace the part that is decomposing if it's too big of a project for you to do yourself.

We used to do Ottawa to Nova Scotia every summer and my family’s solution was to set out by 3am to beat rush hour through Montreal. 😴

Oh god no. We didn’t even vote for him as premier, we don’t know why the rest of the province did.

Maybe spite for Toronto?

This is so well written. I don’t understand why politicians can get away with claiming to care about the housing crisis while making moves to exacerbate it.

I Bought a House and Became Part of the Problem | The Walrus Homeownership is now a retirement plan, pension substitute, nest egg. And that’s exactly what’s broken

A few years ago, I bought a house with the aim of making it my home. I succeeded. But I also became part of a serious national problem, and shame.

I used to be a synchronized swimmer and with good underwater speakers the sound is much better underwater than above. I assume that AirPods would drop the Bluetooth connection which is how they wouldn’t work underwater.
