I am, like many of my fellow Americans, simply appalled and certainly overwhelmed by the actions of this poor excuse for a Government. A President using powers not granted to him legally by the Constitution, but protected from retribution by a judicial system that has been proven to be corrupted.
Could we find a lawyer to start a class action lawsuit against Elon the Muskrat? I figure he can afford a million dollar each every citizen whose financial information he compromised without consent or clearance.
As the extreme cold has started to loosen its grip on W NY and NW PA I am thoughtful. I am certainly in hibernation mode simply wanting to eat dinner and go to bed most evenings. I am mindf of the safety of my

Hard for me to think about things today. Having nothing to do with the machinations of the perversion of democracy to benefit a few at the ultimate cost of millions. My distractions are more personal and worrying today. To quote the person I am worried about, “Growing old isn’t for sissy’s”.
Terrible commute to work today. This was right before the detour that added 40 minutes and a lot of miles! Allegany National Forest is beautiful in the snow but the roads aren’t plowed.

I understand and agree. Like the young man in the Gym in the OP, I too have struggled my whole life with anger issues. Where I especially struggle now is with people who know that and intentionally try to get me unsettled and angry. They see that as “winning”. There are no winners in that though.
Ryan Martin makes a case for engaging with those on the opposite side of the political spectrum, insisting it's necessary now more than ever. I am still angry and disgusted, and unable to do this. But I admire him for it.

Recognizing when the opportunity is there to have a discussion instead of an argument is a tough thing and that seems to be where we truly lack the ability to recognize the olive branch being offered.

My daughters were there on Christmas morning to open presents. Followed by dinner with my father and step mother. After Christmas a road trip that included a Spa stay was truly relaxing. Good company and new experiences. I hope this becomes the pattern for the New Year!
