one annoying thing with Eyelink is that the pupil size afaik is given still in some arbitrary units, having made inter-lab collabs (e.g., MB2) difficult, though in the end not impossible (I think?).
In Copenhagen we also use Eyelink 1000 (infants 6mo+). I haven't used Python but Matlab integration is good and supported.
I haven't used Tobii in ages but when I did, their customer support was close to nonexistent, whereas for EyeLink it was great, there is also a forum with FAQ and community.

We propose that when a single object has two possible representations (an identity derived from the others’ perspective and an identity derived from one’s own perspective), infants’ memory appeared to prioritize sustaining that from the other’s.
Exp 2 found no N400 effect in response to a semantic mismatch from the infant's perspective, when labelling was always consistent with the agent's last witnessed object. Thus overall, infants' N400 response corresponded to encoding the object kind via the other's perspective
Exp 1 found a reduced N400 response (typically sensitive to semantic mismatch) when a label was consistent with and object the other person, but not the infant, last witnessed.
Our new pre-print is up where we show that 14-month-old infants prioritize encoding semantic information via others' perspective, using the N400 ERP component, with @vhsouthgate.bsky.social and @dimask.bsky.social.
