Unfortunately for him, he can’t drink his way out of this mess.

I was treated to a spectacular bit of gaslighting by Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyer, David Markus, over this post. I have a zero-tolerance policy for both gaslighters and mansplainers—habits that frequently overlap—so I’m sharing some thoughts. Please spread the word. Thanks. youtube.com/shorts/uMb82...
I’ll confess to some confusion here. I thought Ghislaine Maxwell’s attorney was Todd Blanche.
Civilians have had apparent seizures. One had his eyes roll back. Another had ribs broken.
“I felt like I was going to pass out and die,” said a 16-year-old citizen put in a chokehold.
The government won’t say if any agents have been punished.

I think part of the problem we have in this country now with Trump is that too few people spoke up and confronted people who were siding with him back in 2015. Maybe if more people had made it socially unacceptable to support this con man, we wouldn’t be dealing with Trump today.
Staged assassinations, wife of supreme court judge participant in January 6th, Epstein Files, rogue drunk FBI director, director of department of war reciting Pulp Fiction as a prayer...
This isn't normal, America!
There is no going back to something. The experiment failed and is over.

NYC study shows men are 2.6x more likely than women to bike to work. When protected bike lane coverage is high, women’s cycling rates rise significantly faster than men’s.
When protected lanes are limited or fragmented, women’s participation drops sharply.
Good bike investments give women choices.
Great public relations for ESPN.🙃
In the United States between 2020 and 2024, law enforcement reported to the FBI “more than 11,000 domestic violence murder victims and an additional 1.1 million victims of domestic violence. Nearly 75 percent of the victims were female.”
Great headline. You are no doubt missing the White House Correspondents Dinner.
Basket of picked green beans in the middle of the field for workers are harvesting
"Adan" shared this photo from the Coachella CA where hes picking green beans. "I get paid 40 cents per pound. The work is exhausting - especially due to the excessive heat in the area. But this is how I support my family." #WeFeedYou
Florida paying playoff fans. Dumb as a sack of hair.
Searing opinion from a federal judge on Long Island, who describes "police state"-like tactics by ICE to arrest peopleand draw up after-the-fact warrants.
He says DOJ is damaging its credibility with the courts by trying to shield ICE from scrutiny. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
I am in Barcelona today to help unite progressive parties from around the world in a defense of democracy and a war against corruption. A first of its kind event. Necessary to beat back the forces of fascism.
Cory Mills, who served in the Army from 1999 to 2003, spent a few months of that time in Iraq. Adam Ehrhardt, a medic who once served directly under Mills, told Mother Jones:
“I wouldn’t piss on him if he was on fire.”
He attended Whittier College, not sure he ever lived there. Still see plenty of lemons and oranges in Yorba Linda, though nothing like in his day.
I think guys tend to congregate with guys who have their world view. If a man respects women then he’s not going to hang out with jerks. If he doesn’t, then it’s as likely he will congregate with other idiots to reinforce their sexist and misogynistic views. But if we cross paths, you are correct.
Effective 2025 federal tax rates paid by these corporations:
Alphabet: 8.01%
AT&T: 4.6%
Meta: 3.57%
General Motors: 3.09%
Amazon: 1.37%
Exxon Mobil: 1.31%
Disney: -1.57%
CVS Health: -3.88%
Income tax rate paid by the typical American: 14.5%
This is what a rigged system looks like.
An important thing to note when discussing this topic is that NASA has a MANDATE to do outreach and education and messaging about its science. It’s a core principle for them. And as such that outreach is FUNDED.
What we need is for more agencies to be rewritten to add mandates like this!
A step away from asking the Russians to investigate their own influence operations in the US. The guiding principle of Trump policy is that Russian ops are good because they support him personally. The guiding principle of Russian policy is that Trump is good because he wrecks the US & helps Russia.
That Yale report on what's wrong with U.S. college saw some trees (high cost, unfair admission, etc.) but missed the forest: the 60-year right-wing crusade to undermine higher ed, from slashing budgets to stifling speech

All of what passes for mainstream Republicanism now is steeped in lies, conspiracy theories, junk science and sheer stupidity.
Waltz is too stupid to be called a sock puppet.
Josh Rogin: “Somebody shorted the oil market today by hundreds of millions of dollars exactly 20 minutes before Trump made his announcement—
If you see that once, it could be a coincidence. But that's happened at least three times, if not more, since the war began — that's a pattern”
Trump continues to crater. New NBC poll has his approval down to 37-63, which is 26 points underwater.
Crucially, 50% disapprove *strongly.* Has any other president had half the country strongly disapproving?

And they remain mystified as to why it's so hard for them to find real lawyers who will work for him...

Giuliani: disbarred

Insane Trump posts will definitely be used against him in a court of law, either here or abroad.
He sounds like Lazarus, fresh from the tomb.
