I stand by my reasoning for thinking this way, he is a talented player, but i was wrong and this one will burn me in a few leagues
Tykee Smith burned me and i am so very sorry if you played him due to my s*** analysis of the situation there. There isnt much else i can say about him. I think he is a talented player in a beat up secondary and he has an ability to play in multiple spots, but it wasnt meant to be this week.
He missed two games due to injury which could be the reason he has been disappointing, but the snaps counts also concern me a little. No one plays 100% for the position in Seattle, but he is playing less than 75% in 9 of his 12 total games. He's probably just a high class waiver guy.
I came into the season very high on Boye Mafe, but i am full stop against him now. He was the ultimate recency bias/victory lap player in Week 3, but since then he hasnt had much effect on matchups.
The sample size for him as a player isnt large enough for me to make a definitive "sit him" statement, and im rolling with him through the end, but this is a concerning red flag coming at a crucial time.
From Week 8 through Week 12, he compiled 22 tkls, 3.5 sacks among other random stats. Since Week 12 he has 9 total tkls and no other stats.
Jared Verse is on my short list for IDP rookie of the year, but over his last 3 games he has been a week losing type of a player.
This past week he put up a game that can lose you a week. The edge rusher position is one of those roster spots you have to get consistency with boom upside, and Hines-Allen has the boom upside, but is rather inconsistent and may have contributed to some losses in round one of the playoffs.
Josh Hines-Allen is a player who i have been so inconsistent on. I cant wuite tell if i like him or not, but the negative point i always bring up when talking about him is his innate ability to disappear randomly.
He's not only performing poorly, but he may very well be playing more hurt than we think and the numbers over his past three games played are rather pedestrian. Id look to stream someone over waiting for the old Blankenship to return.
Im done with Reed Blankenship now as a starter for IDP. HE clearly is a talented player, but he continually disappears in the biggest games of the fantasy season and that loses more games than one would think.
12 tkls and 1.5 sacks vs the Chargers puts him over 100 tkls for the season and 5.5 sacks. believe it or not, hes actually on pace for a new career high in sacks if he gets just one over the next 3 games. He's another guy who is must start regardless of his age.
From one "old" dude to another, Lavonte David also is continuing to prove that if you're a good linebacker time is merely a construct!
He's someone who deserves to be treated better by me AND the IDP community as a whole. in his 13 years in the league he has had over 100 tkls in all but 2 seasons, one of those being his rookie year.
I have made the mistake many many times doubting Demarrio Davis at this age, but he yet again has proven he still has his fastball! 14 tkls and a sack this week, which also put him over 100 tkls for the season.
He's quietly had an effective rookie season and i am very excited for his future prospects as he continues to grow in the game. The Packers got a good one in him and the IDP fantasy community isnt the only group who has noticed!
Rookie linebacker Edgerrin Cooper had a monster game on Sunday Night Football after a 3 game absence. 7tkls 2PD including an INT and a sack.
What more do we want? I've been high on him all season and i think it is now safe to say he is ascending into the elite tier of pass rushers and IDP plays. He's must start regardless of matchup for the rest of the season.
If you have Nik Bonnito congrats, you likely won your week. Back to back monster weeks, which both included touchdowns! What a time for him to peak. He also has recorded a sack in every game this season but 3.
