the fascists have been lying, cheating and changing the rules to their benefit for years. turnabout isn't just fair play, it's the only way to maintain some semblance of a civil society.

They think you're stupid.
Remember, Democrats have repeatedly advanced measures to ban partisan gerrymandering and Republicans have voted against them time after time.
This is the game Republicans wanted to play. OK, then.
Aside from who started it, states like CA and VA putting a counter-gerrymander up to a referendum, where people are told and can make a decision on the context for why it's being done, has vastly more democratic legitimacy than state legislators rushing it through because they got bullied by POTUS.
Houston football head coach Willie Fritz, men's basketball head coach Kelvin Sampson and Vice President for Athletics Eddie Nuñez will be in attendance for all six dates, with the first date set for May 6 in San Antonio.

It is likely that Trump's Iran catastrophe will lead to some kind of compensation for all the countries the US has screwed (which is all of them). We would do well now to lay groundwork for seizing assets of the Palantirs and Musk fortune that enabled Trump's rise and invasion.

It’s a mark of how completely normalised the corruption & depravity have become that we barely bat an eyelid at the thought of two *property developers*, one Trump’s nepo baby son-in-law, being sent to represent the USA in peace negotiations with Iran. Sometimes it all hits you afresh.

Pope should have stayed at BYU. Better resources…better conference.
Reminder that the Biden admin was bringing us a free online filing program, but then Trump/Musk killed it before it had a chance to be expanded to everyone:
Thomas and Hadnot both being veteran guards who like getting to the paint to score, but also to create for others, I think McCarty is gonna feast on drive-and-dish 3s. His offensive game still has room to expand but he's already a really good spot-up shooter.
Corey Hadnot II from IPFW commits to Cougar MBB! Averaged over 20.4 pts, 4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game in 25-26 for the Mastadons. Was 1st team All-Horizon League in this most recent season, as well. Orig from Atlanta, but prepped at Cy Creek HS on the NW side of Houston.
At this moment here's what the scholarship grid looks like. Not much long term change, but definitely starting to get a clear idea what the 26-27 lineup/rotation will be.
Corey Hadnot commits to UH
We are so fucking back
Coogs will be the 7 seed in the Big 12 championships and will open against 10 seed Texas Tech on Wednesday at 9 am.
UH tennis finishes its regular season 8-5 in Big 12 play with a 4-0 win over Cincy earlier. Coogs will now join the other top 10 in the standings Big 12 programs at next week’s conference championships in Orlando.
In case anybody else has also mostly just been reading these guys' names, I looked up the school pronunciation guides, and it's DEE-dawn Thomas and Del-REEK-oh Gillespie
These numbers are based on 2023-24, which means it was Houston's first year in the Big 12, which means they hadn't received any Big 12 distributions yet
The thing I love about Trump's plan to blockade Iran's blockade is that there's a whole sea on the other side of Iran, via which Trump's lover Putin has been supporting Iran that, I'm fairly certain, the US can't blockade.
