My grandmother and mother were part of this story, except they ended up in a camp in Tanzania. My grandfather survived the war, and was reunited with them in Kenya
They were/are remarkable women

I did not know this.. what a sad testimonial to us. We conveniently forget we did some pretty inhumane things during the Wars.

If ever I am in the area, I will look these up 🤍
