Heather Marsh launched #OpDeathEaters in 2014 to expose the global child rape trafficking & blackmail industry, not as isolated crimes, but as a system of control used by oligarchs, spies and governments worldwide. Here are our goals, progress we've made to date and how you can help. #3E #Epstein

All of these could be applied to the Route for Change project.

This is a horrendous decision. No local control over its LRT network.

The Koch brothers hate public transit. But they can’t always stop projects in their tracks. The Koch-funded Americans for Prosperity has been fighting public transit across the country for years. Here's where they've succeeded and failed.

“The infamous Koch brothers have bankrolled climate deniers, propped up polluting industries, and even tried to turn the black community pro-fossil fuel. But, as a recent New York Times story shows, the billionaire conservatives have been steadily exerting pressure against public transit as well.”

I'm glad Bsky is way less toxic than Twisted & mainstream news. Keeping my focus on transit upgrades & expansions, plus great increases in renewable energy installations & use really helps i find.

Ford says no one in Canada is scrutinized like he is after backtracking on $28.9M private jet purchase | CBC News Ontario Premier Doug Ford told reporters Monday that "no one in the country" is more scrutinized than he is, as he explained his government's rationale for buying a $28.9-million private jet before qu...

I just keep thinking about this. Ford loves to pound people to shit and strut across their political bodies. All the name calling. The Lefties. Socialists. Cyclists. Gravy eaters.

But he whines like a high maintenance nepo when something doesn't go his way.

looks like the article was updated after this post:

"After being out of service for a few hours on Monday morning, the TTC says elevators at all subway stations are now operational, but require staff assistance to be used."

requiring staff to use them is so disruptive, now i have to find someone??

All elevators at TTC subway stations out of service Approximately 67 of the TTC's 70 subway stations currently have elevator access to train platforms.

You can’t spend years trying to force people off door-to-door Wheeltrans service if you don’t have working elevators.

This isn’t an “inconvenience,” it’s an affront to everyone with accessibility needs.

I love when subway/metro/underground stations do this, & show the rock face where possible. Makes stations so much more interesting, provides a cool meeting point, something unique from other near identical stations. Some Toronto Line 2 stations have interesting blobs & ovals patterns, I love it.

Behind Trump’s Public Bravado on the War, He Grapples With His Own Fears The president’s impulsive style has never been tested in a sustained military conflict, and he’s been ruminating on Jimmy Carter’s failure in Iran.

Props to the WSJ, they managed to pack almost every Trump decision-making pathology into a single story. It’s all here:

1) Short attention span
2) Impulsive behavior
3) Knowledge deficits
4) Gambling for resurrection
5) Belief in the madman theory

However, all is not lost in Toronto as there's a chance to be bold in another place where the sidewalks can't always fit the people who want to be there:
Church Street. A proposal hatched by urban planning student Rodney Chan to make Church car-free between Wellesley and Alexander from June until August, as it is during Pride and Halloween night, caught the imagination of city officials.
Proving the city can move fast when it wants to, a pilot project for this summer will likely be going to Toronto and East York Community Council on April 30 and could be approved by council in May. The Church Wellesley Village BIA supports the plan, also proving some businesses see value in people-friendly places.
There are forces who will pressure the city to maintain the status quo in both these places. If you like these visions for downtown streets, or wish yongeTOmorrow was bolder, make sure your voice is heard.

Seeing that apparently THOUSANDS of people showed up to pay their respects to a retired MAX train tells me that Oregonians are actively yearning for public transit, and politicians that throw their weight behind efforts to not just restore but massively expand service will be handsomely rewarded

There’s always media coverage for those trying to disparage #high-speed rail or pretty much any #transit improvements. But oddly less coverage for opposition to road building. It’s almost as if most media is biased in favour of the road lobby. Perish the thought. #WorldPublicTransportDay
