He dropped a Rich Men North of Richmond reference yesterday, as if he isn’t literally a pollster living in Fairfax County

Republicans on social media tonight
SCOTUS judges going to go ham on the VRA now?
All of the Hasan discourse on all sides should have to stare at this poll until they understand they are terminally online freaks who are frothing over shit that has no impact materially. Please just fight republicans and donate to dems.
Yes, of course there’s gender stuff happening here, but if I could set that aside for a second to point out how crazy it is to have a Director of Natl Intelligence for 6 months that the President has no confidence in? Or that her lame duck tenure is tied to… the midterms?
You don’t genuinely think he’s a Neo-Nazi, this is just a troll.
Ossoff is going to avoid a runoff, and if the Dems win the gov mansion, he will immediately be a front runner for 2028 IMO. It will be impossible for him not to run.
My wife supervises a precinct in NOVA that should be a core Yes precinct and turnout is reportedly sparse so far on E-Day, which isn’t a great sign IMO. My suspicion has been that there’s election fatigue here and early vote results would be comparable to 2025 but E-Day would lag.
And I’m not an AI skeptic — this shit is going to be enormously disruptive because it works pretty well. We have to start acknowledging that so we can address the political and policy implications of it
This thing is NAFTA 2.0 politically, and we have a chance to be on the right side of it. And if we aren’t, it will be hung around our necks immediately. You will see the entire GOP align against AI within 90 days of a new administration unless Dems get ahead of it and own it
Dems need to make AI opposition (by that I mean: regulation, putting hyperscalers on the back foot on policy, etc) a central, core component of their 2028 campaign.
This issue is a populist death star, and if Democrats win without owning it, republicans will pivot against it immediately in 2029.
Yes it’s why they think progressive protestors are paid — because it is an actual business model they recognize. They fund content creation at a micro level most progressive writers could scarcely imagine. They don’t demand any ROI/metrics on it at all either.
The funny thing is you could have paid a mid-level influencer like a third of this to create content that people would actually consume, instead they paid this jagoff to write drivel on a blog that nobody normal is ever going to read.
Correct, this is one of those things that could keep it within 5 points imo
I think the problem here is that the electorate is so racially polarized that polls being anywhere within 7 or 8 points approaching Election Day would itself mobilize R turnout.
How has he trolled for right wing votes?
FDR literally pulled the country out of its worst ever economic crisis after the Davos class of the time had completely shit the bed
This feels backwards, actually! It would be an extremely bad look for me if I missed a work flight as well as a massive pain in the ass administratively. The whole situation is pure nightmare fuel.
The legacy media stuff still shows up in a lot of digital and independent media people actually watch though. Especially in a Presidential campaign. They still have narrative setting power.
The NYT is already doing this now!
I do think she’s running uphill on electability perception though, and the media will apply 10x the scrutiny to her statements on policy that they will to Vance. Vance will get grandfathered in a serious and capable person, where she will be characterized as a policy lightweight.
[Bloop bloop beep] The machines are on
WTI crude jumps 7% to $88.40/bbl in opening moments of Sunday trading...
Yeah it’s nuts how politics Bluesky/Twitter continues to do this 2016 Primary Shuffle, while you have people like Angie Sullivan and Jennifer Welch just fully opposing aid to Israel at this point. These are Bravo-coded white women that would have been bog standard Hillary voters. It’s over.
Futures markets don’t open until 6pm ET on Sunday. Let’s see what happens in an hour or so
Begging dem candidates to stop overthinking this. “The billionaire class is the problem” is an easy, popular message and it just so happens to also be true.
The right doesn’t have an ideology beyond just arguing that libs are gay and dumb.
If you go after billionaires, they will spend all their time saying “billionaires are great, actually, we should kiss their asses more” in the most politically self-defeating ways possible.
I think there should be some level of Glonzo-ing allowed here, and I think this is fine electorally. But it doesn’t strike me as an authentic belief and so it makes me think a Beshear-led party would not be substantively different. It’s just a less toxic version of Rahm’s “anti-woke” approach.
