1st Overton Cubs took the biscuit last night when they gave baking a go! 🍪👩🏽‍🍳

Substitution (25’) Morris off for Briggs who takes on the captains armband. Briggs joined Wrexham for an undisclosed fee the season before last and started her playing career at Sunderland. Rumours have it that Morris is joining Clwyd Rovers imminently.

We’re also grateful for the continued support of all the Scouts’ parents and carers throughout 2024. 🎉

Fingers crossed all the Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers have been good and that Santa is kind! 🎁

Map reading for 4 year olds? We do it in Squirrels, the newest member of our family tree! Wrexham now has 4 Dreys: Sontley Road, Rhosnesni, opposite the General Station and Overton-on-Dee.

Our PCSO heard that our Beavers were not always doing their best - so arrested them and put them in the police van!

This time next week, our amazing volunteers will at last get invited to log on to our new digital system - with tools to make their lives much easier! Woohoo!

1st Esclusham Scouts recently visited Wrexham Miners Rescue Centre where they learned about the local mining communities and the terrible Gresford Disaster.

As part of the night they went in the smoke & heat chamber where mine rescuers learnt how to cope with the terrible conditions down the mines.
