We mobilized 30,000 volunteers to make calls and send texts to help Iowa Democrats and Catelin Drey's campaign get out the vote—winning a district that Donald Trump won by over 11 points in November.
Catelin Drey has won the Iowa State Senate special election, breaking the GOP supermajority.
It was a hot one today, but our volunteers can stand the heat. A fantastic end to the Spring Listening Tour, as we sent out 23 packets today. Thank you to everyone who gave their time to this effort. This is truly doing the work and we will keep doing this with you.
Our spring Listening Tour is wrapping up this weekend, and now is a great chance to hit the doors with us if you haven't yet. We will be out there listening to the concerns of our neighbors and friends and sharing their stories.

A Listening Tour is not canvassing as usual. It focuses on listening to Iowans’ stories, rather than collecting voter data or using persuasion to support a candidate. We will engage in conversations to maintain strong grassroots connections, and to show our commitment to hearing people’s concerns.
