Sorry to hear that, grim at the best of times but especially after the end of that game. Hope you’re ok.

Gutted after the Brighton game, felt like a big missed opportunity to shift momentum. Would feel more positive after that performance but running out of games. Spurs leadership deserve a lot of blame but that performance shows how much Frank has killed us this season, players capable of way more.

Ok we’re fucked, I finally accept it. Danso had to get rid there.

Another appalling ref. Zero consistency. We’re under pressure and struggling for composure but when we get our act together the ref finds a way to give Brighton a foul. If Spurs ever miraculously get a free kick he forgets where his cards are.

Yeh, with a lot of this stuff, no one would care if we were doing well this year. But I guess people are probably going to get annoyed with stuff like this on the week we finally drop into the relegation places. I’d kind of respect it if he was just full on trolling at this stage.

Looks like maybe the original picture was accurate and they fixed it.

Saw this on COYS Reddit. Post was from a few hours ago - picture may have been updated since or could have been bullshit and I just believed it. Either possible tbh, I guess it seems plausible but annoying someone posted that if not true.

Generally agree but seems like the image used for him to advertise the event has him sat in front of an Arsenal badge, which is not ideal. Maybe it has nothing to do with him but does seem like wilful incompetence at times.

Thought the midfield quality declined so much when it was Paulinha, Gallagher and Sarr. Gallagher was really poor again unfortunately.

Thought RKM was ok, at least beat his man a couple of times. Low bar and the front 3 looked ineffectual, as you say Jill 2 of them out of position. We don’t really have any wingers but think Tel should have started on the left with Richy available to come on late on for some chaos-ball if needed.

Fair, Richy added energy but no control - he’s best when it’s scrappy. He wasted 2 or 3 big opportunities to either score or play someone in. Thought Tel should have started instead. I guess I felt like big chunks of the game we couldn’t control possession and create regular chances.

No luck, shit referee, freak injuries and an inability to create clear cut chances. The story of Spurs’ season. Also Brobbey should have been off multiple times.

Thought we were ok until their goal and then subs killed us until Xavi came on. Too many players who can’t possess the ball on the pitch.

Can’t understand this signing for the summer at all. Wasn’t keen in Jan but with injuries could just about see why. Another aging non homegrown player on a high salary. Seems crazy that rather than getting a peak age left back we decided to get one thats inexperienced and one thats over the hill.

Thought George S was pretty good on it. Did wince at Marcus’ intro about how excited he was and how Tom A agreed. Did think it was more balanced overall than the start suggested it would be and pleased that the few pods I’ve listened to have all at least referenced discomfort with the appointment.

Roberto De Zerbi is the shameful inevitable end point for Spurs' era of ignominy. Out of bad footballing ideas, Tottenham have decided to cast aside their soul to fix things.

Tottenham Hotspur are all out of bad football ideas after seven years of mismanaging themselves into a relegation fight, so of course they are hiring Roberto De Zerbi. Selling their soul was the only idea they had left.

Couldn’t agree more

Much easier to give up membership. I’ll be able to rejoin when I want - makes it less likely I’d get tickets without membership but can’t see me wanting to go for a while anyway. If I’m honest with myself I probably wouldn’t give up a season ticket, your approach sounds like a good one.

I know it won’t mean much but I’m planning to cancel my membership.

I put in my email that they’ve also shown their engagement with fan groups who’ve spoken out about it is just a hollow PR exercise.

This lot have proved themselves to be specialists in incompetence. Appointing the combustible rape apologist on a 5 year contract at a point where we need calmness and unity is next level. Even for them this is an almost impressive level if ineptitude and tone deafness.

Some may be dismissive about whether the avalanche of emails protesting De Zerbi can dissuade Spurs’ leadership from making another bad decision but it’s about more than that.

The emails and letters also represent a protest against the way the club is being run by the current owners.

An edited screengrab from the Simpsons, showing crooked attorney Lionel Hutz's business card. The card is headed 'Tottenham Hotspur' with the text beneath saying 'Sensible Hiring Policy' and 'No Dickheads'. The addition of a red question mark, comma and exclamation mark in red felt pen alters the text to read 'Sensible Hiring Policy? No, Dickheads!' in reference to Tottenham Hotspurs apparent willingness to hire sexual violence apologist Roberto De Zerbi. #spurs #notodezerbi

Yeh that’s bizarre, clearly their IT implementations are as well executed as their transfer strategies and managerial appointments. I only just got my email in and got the same response - my number was Case 00148894.

I think I saw something where Ali Gold had at least mentioned the Mason Greenwood stuff about some of the reservations regarding RDZ. Not sure if he specifically mentioned fan discontent though.
