True. It's hard when you want to continue supporting them in their success but they shut you out/ditch you for whatever reason. I've just seen it happen so many times to so many people. Especially in the furry community, it happens a lot here for some reason :(
I understand popularity and success opens new doors but please try to remember the people who helped and supported you before! It breaks my heart. I've even had a friend do this to me lol. I try to reach out and get no effort back when before they got popular, we were mega close - That shit hurts.
I hate how common it is to lose friendships if one of the friends gets popular in a community. I can't tell you how many times I've seen it happen where there's a friend group and one of them gets popular through art/vtubing/fursuiting/whatever and suddenly their less popular friends get dropped.

Thank you lovely! Yeah it certainly broke us. I couldn't sleep or eat for days. It brings me comfort knowing he lived to such a good age though for a greyhound, and we made the right call because he lost his ability to stand up in the end. :(

For anyone wondering, the paw print on my tattoo is supposed to have 3 toes! He had a back paw with a toe missing and it just became his little signature thing as well as his heart patch 🥹
We also hand made memorial frames with his paw and nose prints.

For those who don't know - We lost our beautiful greyhound Kai 3 weeks ago. He was 13 and was our best friend.
He had a heart shaped patch on his left side, and now, after a couple hours in the tattoo studio, @kwibsy.bsky.social and I do too.
