When you want to draw but cockblocked by dead tablet battery...
You can just make your own global lora mesh network and nobody can stop you. No i will not elaborate.
Lessons learned: don't gamble on equipment someone else tried to repair, it's likely not trivially repairable.
A small broken LCD showing part of a shrugging cat and some colors most of it is either off or distorted.
Nooo I killed him... 😭
A picture of a small screen showing a cat with hands emoting "I don't know" and random colored lines in the background.
Was testing a screen with random color patterns and someone asked me what pride flag that is...
Finally fixed my laptop to sleep at 500mW. Seems good until you realize that that's only 4 days of sleep after full charge...
Eh, close enough
Give a hacker a spec, and he will abuse and misuse it but ultimately keep it working.
Give the industry a spec and they will ignore it and make the wrong implementation standard instead.
I still don't understand why we decided that using the m.2 E key for wifi cards was a good idea. It's all PCI-E anyways, just give me more M keys for SSDs if I don't want your wifi!
A PCB of a VR controller with a potentiometer soldered to the back of the main joystick pins in order to re-center them in hardware.
Is this how we fix stick drift?
A router board with a bunch of wires soldered across it.
Would you rather talk to your ISP on the phone?
or
Spend an evening dumping the secrets from the router directly?
Now you can power an entire LAN from a single powerbank!
Your home appliance lied to you. Oh "12V 1A ⎓” is written on your router? Well open it up, look inside. It's just a DC-DC converter stepping it down to 3.3V anyways and it's not even rated for 12W so it can't even be 1A of that. If you feed it 5V from USB it works just as well.
An image of a 3D printed tag-connect compatible pop pin programming header. Slightly melted due to some rework.
We have tag-connect™ at home
Perfect!
Point of view: Xenia the Linux fox is grabbing you by the hand, bringing you inside her room. She says "I lied, there's no Netflix. Instead I have a local Jellyfin server with twenty terabytes of pirated media."
POV You're on a date with Xenia

Screenshot of https://fightchatcontrol.eu/ The EU (still) wants to scan your private messages and photos The "Chat Control" proposal would mandate scanning of all private digital communications, including encrypted messages and photos. This threatens fundamental privacy rights and digital security for all EU citizens. Currently: 3 member states opposing, 15 member states, 9 member states undecided You Will Be Impacted Every photo, every message, every file you send will be automatically scanned—without your consent or suspicion. This is not about catching criminals. It is mass surveillance imposed on all 450 million citizens of the European Union. Mass Surveillance - Every private message, photo, and file scanned automatically: no suspicion required, no exceptions*, even encrypted communications. Breaking Encryption - Weakening or breaking end-to-end encryption exposes everyone's communications—including sensitive financial, medical, and private data—to hackers, criminals, and hostile actors. Fundamental Rights - Undermines your fundamental rights to privacy and data protection, as guaranteed by Articles 7 and 8 of the EU Charter—rights considered core to European democratic values. False Positives - Automated scanners routinely misidentify innocent content, such as vacation photos or private jokes, as illegal, putting ordinary people at risk of false accusations and damaging investigations. Ineffective Child Protection - Child protection experts and organisations, including the UN, warn that mass surveillance fails to prevent abuse and actually makes children less safe—by weakening security for everyone and diverting resources from proven protective measures. Global Precedent - Creates a dangerous global precedent enabling authoritarian governments, citing EU policy, to roll out intrusive surveillance at home, undermining privacy and free expression worldwide.
‼ Fight Chat Control - protect EU digital privacy! ‼
The EU may soon mandate scanning private messages and photos, possibly by October.
PLEASE, contact your MEPs now - the site has their details (for all EU countries!) and even a message generator to make it easy!

I was asleep for a parcel that needed a signature so I'm making sure that doesn't happen again
A drawing of a furry fox using mainly straight lines.
POV: You don't know how to draw so you just throw down straight lines to try and decimate what you have in your head onto a page.
