this is why i have been so insistent that activists here in chicago rethink "close broadview"-- broadview, the only stop before detainees get moved out of state-- as an organizing goal. it's not that i don't want it closed, it's that we must think strategically about the downstream effects

Legal status doesn’t matter: if you exceed ICE’s melanin threshold, you get snatched. It is ethnic cleansing. There is no other word for it.

Feds have just shot another person in the streets. Furious community members are gathering. State police and conservation cops here in front of ~50 federal agents.

Outside the Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis tonight—

Around 100 protesters are gathered across from the facility. Some vehicles with masked agents inside have been periodically arriving.

DHS agents just gave another warning to stay out of the road and driveway, called out press as well.
