More than 70 Minnesota children detained in Operation Metro Surge, data show Sahan’s analysis of court records and federal deportation data represents the most thorough accounting yet of the Minnesota children detained during “Operation Metro Surge.”

"A 16-year-old Minneapolis boy from Ecuador, detained when he left home to pick up dinner for his family, was sent alone to a shelter in Michigan, where authorities temporarily lost track of him."

In competitive authoritarianism, leaders abuse state power to tilt the electoral playing field in their favor, manipulate the media environment and minimize opposition voices, maybe even steal close elections by lying about fraud. But they usually can't overcome a large majority voting against them.

We're in court today challenging ICE and CBP's racial profiling and warrantless arrests, which have been sowing fear and chaos in Minnesota communities.

Federal agents are bound by the Constitution, and we will hold them accountable for their lawless actions.

It is illegal for ICE to detain U.S. citizens, full stop.

We’re in court reminding the Trump administration of our fundamental rights to due process and to live free from racial profiling.

Lawsuit accuses federal agents of racial profiling in Minneapolis immigration operation Legal challenges continue to mount for the Trump administration over its ongoing immigration crackdown in Minnesota, where the shooting death of an unarmed U.S. citizen last week triggered days of sometimes violent protests

Masked federal agents are ignoring people's basic constitutional rights in Minnesota.

We're taking the Trump administration to court to put a stop to it.

Some of the stories in here are absolutely chilling. One US citizen of Somali descent was just riding an elevator with ICE agents and then they detained him for almost half an hour in the freezing cold despite him showing agents his passport card. They only let him go once protestors showed up.

ACLU claims Cuban detainees were beaten for refusing removal to Mexico The group claims that attempted "third country" deportations are part of the threats migrants have to endure at a large ICE detention center at Fort Bliss.

People detained at the nation’s largest ICE detention center report that officers have beaten them and used the threat of violence and criminal charges to coerce non-Mexican immigrants into crossing the border into the Mexican desert.

We're demanding that the facility be shut down immediately.

ICE conduct in Colorado "unlawful”: Federal judge restricts how immigration officers can arrest people in the state The ruling is a win in federal court for ACLU, Colorado law firms who sued ICE to stop “indiscriminate” arrests and detentions

A federal judge last week blocked ICE from making indiscriminate arrests without a warrant in Colorado, in a case brought by @acluofcolorado.bsky.social.

The Trump administration can't arrest people because of our skin color, accent, or perceived nationality in order to fulfill arrest quotas.

Texas has become a major data center hub, and these projects could increase the risk of blackouts in the winter when the Texas grid is already strained.

THREAD: Judge Ellis is the first federal judge to review extensive body cam video of DHS's actions in Chicago. She finds that DHS *repeatedly* misled the public and made claims that were disproven by agents' own videos.
