ICYMI as of April 24, 2026, Copilot can be trained on your GitHub interactions **unless you opt out**.
To opt out, do these steps:
1. Go to github.com/settings/cop...
2. In the **Privacy** section, find the **Allow GitHub to use my data for AI model training** drop-down and choose **Disabled**.
