Aw shux, you missed me in February. Sick shirt - I did get that synth revved up to put on the new Web!
Same -and I could never play that way if I wanted to, because no discipline. The stretchy chords with close intervals in that book were eye opening to young me though for sure!
I got the book, Reaching for the Uncommon Chord right after high school and it really opened my eyes to some stuff
Yeah, that would suck. How you sposed to look at it during the concert without alienating everyone around you
Curious, did he play the Rumblefish song or anything from Rhythmatist?

The 3rd Monday of every April is filled with glorious traditions in Boston: Patriots' Day commemorations, the running of the Boston Marathon, and me walking to Fenway Park past BU students who are playing outdoor beer pong at 7:30am.

This is a 1990s Jerry Jones Longhorn Bass6 electric guitar made in Nashville TN. It was owned by Robert Quine who played with Richard Hell & The Voidoids, Matthew Sweet, Lou Reed and many others. It’s the final of three Quine guitars we purchased shortly after Robert died. Robert was good friends with Rick Kelly at Carmine Street Guitars. Rick handled all the musical equipment sales after Robert died. It comes with multiple forms of documentation including the promotional sales badge, copy of original sales receipt, and the inventory list from Carmine Street Guitars. In addition, there’s some case-candy left by Quine. Description from VintageSilvertones.com This Longhorn Bass6 features a solid/semi-hollow, longhorn double cutaway body, in a copper sunburst finish front and back. It has two single coil lipstick pickups which in combination are humbuckers. There's a clear plastic pickguard, two metal strap pins and Kluson Deluxe-style tuners. The guitar is 100% original and in new-old-stock condition. Description from VintageSilvertones.com
