I drive by a laundromat on my way to work on Broadway right before it becomes S. instead of N. called Cycles. The sign has a little bonus descriptor under the main name that says "Loads of Fun!" I'm like really??

Little Buff Boy Champ of '96! I still think I should have one in Tuscon!
Wonder if Lisa Hanawalt has any issues with this shit?
Seems like a good number of people, though I wouldn't really have an idea what to expect.
I haven't been to the Aztlan in literal decades. But saw some good shows there back in the day. Bad Brains, Fishbone, ALL... some others.
Was it very full for the show? I was tempted to go having been a fan since the early 90s (though I sold off most of my Jandek collection during lean times the last couple years). Always fascinating, the mystery, still mysterious even after he decided to emerge.
When pets can do that....it's the best.
I'd recommend The Sword "winter's wolves". Killer song that does have some wolves howling....
Ryley!
S.O.D.! wtf are you from Yonkers? lol Great haul.

The Meters
Rain on Lens is the one I listen to the most. Amazing unique record.
Many are saying this.
Really great essay and memory. I was into them already (Zen Arcade, Metal Circus) when it came out but dang...I dubbed a copy of New Day Rising, and listened to it on my Walkman while doing my early morning paper route SO many times. It's an all timer!!
What brand gum used for cover of Lovedrive? Hubba Bubba? Bubblicious? Other?
I got these once when I was Iceland
Very thoughtful and emotional post... I'm in my 50's working at an indie record store and we still sell loads of Deja and Devil and God to pretty young kids (mostly). I am sort of surprised honestly, and often wonder about the notion of when an artist is "cancelled"...or not.
It's a great record. I didn't look closely enough early on in my listenings (the 90's) to realize that Doug Yule sings almost as many songs as Lou does on this one.
I have not...
I told your producers...
Saw them open for Elvis Costello in 1983 went out and bought this record the next weekend at JR's records at my local mall.
Plays like a Greatest Hits record right out of the gate. Amazing.
I can't stop drinking WINE!
