The meeting covered Ukraine financing, taxation of tobacco and new nicotine products, EU budget resources, better EU regulation, and savings & investment accounts across EU Member States to better channel more of the €33,000 bn of EU savings into the real economy.

Important issues for ECOFIN in 🇱🇺

EU financial support for Ukraine in view of Russia’s war, new own resources to the EU budget, higher taxation of tobacco and new nicotine products, mobilisation of private investments, and better EU regulation.

We look forward to substantial discussions! 🇪🇺
