Twitter being broken is glorious. Imagine how fidgety Elon is getting because he can't abuse people online this very second.

SATA Solid State Drives Are Still Good Buys Solid State Drives (SSDs) are pretty cheap now, and SATA drives are still around. Are SSDs based on older technology still good buys, and should you use them at all?

Pretty sure one of the easiest ways to make this platform less spammy would be an option to limit replies to followers only.

The weirdest shit is always from drive-by randos or bots.

A reminder as Musk-bots, Trump-bots, and other bots start hitting Bluesky: blocking users removes their replies from your posts entirely.

The correct way of handlin antagonizing parties is to block. Not reply. Not dunk. Not mute. Block. It stops their reach and effectiveness right there.

Incredible violations of user privacy happening on my computer right now. You can't decline or dismiss this user agreement of the Virtual Pet software that also creeps its way into the system.

It doesn't matter if I wanted it or not, #ASUS #ArmouryCrate installed itself silently when I plugged my keyboard into my laptop. This and Razer 's Synapse is tiring.

Pop! is no longer gaming focused *today*. When they started out, they had special integrations for Steam and were the only distro dealing with NVIDIA's driver situation properly.

People ought to be eternally grateful for the fact that email systems were fixed ten years prior because someone was paying attention to the discussions on various BBSes and developer mailing lists.

I just took part in Meta's survey of their users on WhatsApp. Just over 3/4 of it asked questions about how people feel about Meta as a company, Facebook as a social media network, how Meta services impacts public sentiment, and so on. They seem to be pretty worried about the loss of young users.

The Cost of Not Running an Anti-Virus Inevitably you run into the same argument on internet forums and social media: “I don’t use an antivirus, common sense is all that’s needed."

Stop ruining your computing experience by rawdogging it without an anti-virus.
