That’s such a basic & weak argument. The constitution doesn’t say anything about separating faith & the person either. It doesn’t say that anybody who has faith is unfit for public office. People’s faith is often as big as a part of who they are as is gender identity. I get it you don’t understand, faith, and that that’s fine, but don’t criticize or mock others who do. Your lack of understanding of faith is equal to those people who don’t understand gender identity.

So would you say that for somebody who is, let’s say, is transgender and stated so? Should they keep the fact that they’re transgender hidden, or as you say, private? The hypocrisy is often so thick you can’t see beyond it.
