I am a Person with Disabilities #pwd, unable to work, and living in #poverty. I am writing this story as a way to keep my mind off the poverty and maybe show that folks like myself CAN still contribute to society, even if we can't work a conventional job.

haven't really used gouache. I've got a bunch of PH Martin's ink tho

lately I've been doing a LOT of practice hehe
and currently using PPPs, though I keep thinking I should grab some nibs and trying doing it the old fashioned way

I had to do this up in calligraphy because of how it echoes with the situation in the US and Gaza right now.

How many times have we heard ppl basically say "Leave or die" to people who shed blood to be where they are? All for greed.

Anyone found east of the Shannon river after the deadline of May 1st, 1654 would be killed (or shipped to the west indies as slaves)

100s of thousands were displaced, enslaved or killed, and afterwards the vacated land was divvied up between Cromwell's soldiers.

This quote is from a song about Cromwellian conquest of #Ireland (1649-1653), where British parliament ordered the transplant of those who didn't prove "constant good affection" to the crown into Connacht or County Clare.
