I've cosplayed both Sonic and Shadow!

I know no one really understands why. It's not the parties, nor kissing someone at midnight. I don't even make "New Year's Resolutions". But there's something about the comfort in the sentiment that we all get to say an official "goodbye" to our past selves, ...and continue on. It feels comfortably existential.
