3 Pieces of tech that let me down in 2025.

Makes sense why they'd push it so hard. It costs virtually nothing to create these and if any song gets a good number of listens it keeps the subscription revenue in their ecosystem.
They've been doing this for a while - I've suspected for a while some of the GenAI music distributors are directly linked to Spotify. Any listen to an AI song created by a Spotify-affiliated distributor pushes subscription money back to Spotify instead of paying out real artists.
I often think about the idea that VR could become so realistic and fulfilling that humans will no longer have the urge to explore outwards into the vast emptiness of space and simply become Gods of their own virtual world.

This is the CHEAPEST Android drawing tablet that I could get from a local Bestbuy. Is it any good?
My algorithm on YT is broken and I'm constantly suggested videos on super niche topics I'm not interested in - often these suggestions have less than 10 views on the video. I use the subscriptions tab often or I miss things I actually want to see.
Thankfully Ecoflow's warranty service was quite good. Watch the video to see me kill this battery!

When views = revenue, and lying/hyperbole gets clicks, that means lying = revenue.
It's become clear that lying has no consequences. And those lies get boosted by the algorithm because they're designed to promote engagement for revenue.
I fixed my broken garage door receiver and replaced my old remotes with this.
