Did you know your school can develop new maths teachers using the apprenticeship levy?

The DfE is also continuing its salary-grant funding pilot for the Teacher Degree Apprenticeship in secondary mathematics giving schools salary support when employing an apprentice maths teacher.

Strobel wrote his most famous book in the 90's I think. If he's one of the latest your church is touting, there may not be as many as you thought. It's a pretty decent book I've heard.

type stuff. As an early entry I think if you really felt you needed to do something qualifications like the edexcel awards or similar can be helpful as the content is crossover to maths and they come in level 1,2or 3 allowing you to give ‘real exam’ experience at most levels.

I used to do this for many years. Whole of year 10. In old spec it was OK, but since 2019 it was just a lot of hard work that took up too much time, with far less crossover to maths than previously.
The exams often seemed unfair and often badly marked too. Real guess what’s in the examiners head
