Also, my grandmother’s little brother didn’t live past the age of 6 due to meningitis.

In ‘98, I arrived at school on Monday morning to the shocking news that my friend’s brother had died less than 24 hours prior. He’d gone to a party on Saturday night & hadnt been feeling well. He’d caught meningitis & died Sunday afternoon. He was only 15! The whole school got vaccinated after that.
