After this I’m done. For real this time!

I could be wrong, but that’s how it is for me at least. I say go for it if you get the chance.
You seem like the kind of person to get enjoyment over playing these kinds of so-so games and forming your own opinion. Like even if you don’t have actual “fun” playing the games, they’ll be a satisfaction in experiencing it, remembering it, and discussing it with others.
Not gonna show you the entire endeavor here, but the curated best 10%, where I mostly know what I’m doing.

Virginia’s still gotta work through her Giethe… er… I mean her GRIEF!

Yeah, feel free to put it up. We’ll need to promote Hilda first but I’m interested in trying it
No Virginia, I think it’s great that you overrode our party structure and made a unit with zero synergy!

Whale whale whale
Girl what.
You nailed it! I love Runaways!
Is that Niko and Karolina?
I’ve no doubt executives will try to boil TADC’s success into a simply formula to produce low-effort imitators. “Let’s see… clowns + existential anxiety + Windows 98 graphics = profit! Get it on my desk by 5!”
We’ll need to learn from this show’s sentiment of creative freedom, not just its vibe.
I just hope the success of this doesn’t just glomp onto a few big projects. TADC deserves its following, but we need also to support all the other great endeavors that haven’t gotten their big break yet.
This is great to hear. I can remember not too long ago when animation was the Hard Mode of YouTube. I mean it still probably is, but it was tough for cartoons to be worth it vs other content that could be churned out daily. This is a big win.
Did he erase everyone’s memory? Or did our memories erase themselves, for we simply are not ready to know Tom Bombadil!
Yeah, go for it!
We’re trying out some new party comps. We welcome your critique! (Oscar came up with them)

That wouldn’t be a bad countdown.
Also that’s a kind of Bait-and-Switch.
Oh, that’s sort of like a Monkey’s Paw wish, where you technically get what you asked for but it’s not at all what you wanted or comes with some insane side effects.
I haven’t played much Dragon Quest myself. But is the term you’re looking for a “Faustian Bargain”?
My 3rd grade teacher SWORE we would all need to know how to write in cursive to function in modern society. I had to stay after class because my penmanship was bad, and how could I possibly hold down a job without forming words in a single pen stroke?
That’s really sweet.
There’s a decent amount of freedom in how you handle problems, leading to different outcomes with major characters that overlap for several unique endings. The game is more willing to truly grapple with some of these themes than other similar games I’ve played. It’s no VA-11 Hall-A, but it’s good.
The game is extremely progressive in ways I appreciate. And ahead of its time with a central plot revolving around the ethics of AI. They couldn’t have predicated exactly what GenAI would be like today, but I think most of its observations on the subject hold up nearly a decade later.
2064 goes for more of a detective adventure game with a few light puzzle sections, but the majority of your time is spent conversing with the memorable characters. The voice acting surprised me, it’s very well done. Some scenes can overstay their welcome, but I’d say the dialogue is well written.
23.) 2064: Read Only Memories
A sci-fi visual novel about the near-future. I was interested in this because it happens to take place in the same world as VA-11 Hall-A, though not made by the same devs/writers. There’s just cameo characters between the two. Stylistically it’s pretty distinct.
She has. A lot.
