Depending on the year, the spokes will be first to go. Get a more comfortable seat. Blue locktite the nut that’s locking the battery to the frame. It will come off easily. If model is <2025 consider a pedal assist addition near future.
Solid bike. Enjoy it.

Ok, who in #yegbike changed their studded to summer tires this week?? Leave them on, stop causing snow and freezing temps. /S
I'm one of the few. Rode year round. It's nice & cozy even during rare extremely cold days. No traffic jams. #yeg spent millions more building, cleaning & maintaining roadways for id10ts who think walking blocks away is a chore.
Oh, how much did these id10ts spent on gas lately?
What?! And remove a way some drivers adjust for their .. uhm … inadequacies?!
Next to no traffic. Didn’t know that 97st changed now. Giving it a try tomorrow. Thanks.
Absolutely. Obstacles to me being stopping and chatting and dog petting.
It's like an obstacle course. But with people and dogs. Great to be able to pet the regular doggos along the way.
That's #yeg for you. These contractors are not bike friendly too. This is my daily detour if it helps.
The @thecityofedmonton.bsky.social website and funicular updates are linked by a super advanced delay interface.
#yegbike Glad to see so many cyclists out there today. Good weather also bring out panicky-clueless drivers. Be vigilant when riding.
#Funicular and elevator are misbehaving today.
3) that would be a nice neighbourhood to go round in circles.
Edmonton subreddit is cooked for sure. Admins and posters there are at a different level of…fried.
#yegbike Putting back studs...at this rate going to leave them on until summer. /s
Snow on top of crunchy ice. Black ice in crossings and intersections. Plus temps will melt ice for the next round of snow.
Mother Nature is cruel. Just put back studded tires. I’ll leave them on until summer. 😤
Morning commute was dicey without studs. Blowing snow and thin layer of ice under thick soggy snow. Plus temps melted the snow for ride home. Most paths and roadways now at the same level pre-snowfall this morning.
Just put on stud-less tires this weekend. Will take a chance this week.
I’ve literally abandoned my car after getting a pair of panniers from MEC. Farmers markets, save-ons, etc. Enjoying the rides very much.
#yegbike 91st MUP from Summerside to DT mostly clear with ice patches. Millcreek Ravine detours in residential areas all clear as well. Leaving studs on for another week.
Construction along 102 Ave brings the usual mess of confusing, poorly placed signage - best take an alternate route.
#yegbike No more buttery smooth ride today. All that snow melted and froze again. Going to be a bumpy ride. Watch out for yellow unpacked snow patches.
Awesome ride today. A joy to glide over the soft snow.
Hey #RCMP & #GaryAnandasangaree, you should spend the money to monitor these events instead of trying to persecute law abiding #firearms owners. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
This is daily for me. #yeg roads are full of these unsafe drivers.
I hear you. It’s either the creek or take chances with drivers on the streets on my routes.
Uh no charging required. Feed it with logs.
#yegbike ouch, tumbled twice in a day at the same spot! Super slippery and not sanded. MUP from the old velodrome down to mill creek ravine. Be careful and go slow.
You are not alone. So tempting. But then I remember cracking a few ribs a few years ago.
Definitely a huge disconnect between city planers up in the clouds and contractors on the ground putting up the barricades and signs.
That construction crew is a train wreck. They seem to have no considerations for pedestrians and cyclists. The signs and barricades can be done better by a 5yo. But look at the areas they cordoned off for parking their large trucks. SMH.
#yegfunicular didn’t work for me this AM. It’s stuck on top of hill. It’s been like this for about one week. As usual, city web site is incorrect.
Issue in most of downtown bike paths. Daily occurrence where vehs are on the bike paths. One time this truck followed me at least 2 blocks until veering off into a sidewalk. Found out they were from out of town. But still no excuse in missing the brightly painted signs and lines on the road. /S
